Trivia Winner
Posted by: Ben Wright on February 28, 2008 at 2:13PM EST

Colby Armstrong led the Penguins in short-handed time on ice last season and was Pittsburgh's +/- leader as a rookie in 2005-06 (based on information taken from Pittsburgh's media guide). He'll be expected to kill penalties here a well and there's no reason to think he have any trouble.  Congratulations to Dan R who won a pair of tickets to tonight's game.

Ben,

Just curious about how many correct answers??? I know there were at least 2 since I didn't get picked. And to the person who said it was a hard question . . . the information was on Pitt's website. : )

12. It was a tough one if you didn't know where to look.

My odds are getting better. This time was 1 out of 12, last time was 1 out of 30, before that it was 1 out of 59 . . . .

I'm dying here!!! I've had almost every question correct this year! And today I'm one of 12 ! And still not one time has my name been picked! Luckily I'm a STH so I'm not worried that much over free tix... but it would be nice to win once and a while :)

They should give everyone free tickets who answered right. The thrashers are cheap. Still havent reply to my complaint about the the 360 replay camera thing blocking my view at the game after the all-star game.....

I was 1 of 12 too. Definitely frustrating!!!!! But, like jd, I already have tickets, but the feeling of actually winning something is always nice!

Hey "anonymous" want some cheese to go with that whine?

A) Name one other NHL team that gives out a pair of tickets to every home game in a online trivia contest.

B) What do you expect the Thrasher's to do about your view being blocked now? Replay the game? Give you your money back? You should have said something to someone at the game and sat in one of the empty seats on the lower concourse.

I was the winner for the 2/28 Isles game, after probably about 50 or so correct answers over the past couple of years. Through a lot of tries, persistence finally paid off. Keep trying. And please, to the guy who said the Thrashers are cheap, give me a break! I'm happy that they do have this contest. I do wish they'd bring back trivia in the Headlines Bar area. That was a cool thing to play.
