Trivia For 03/21 Game:
Q) Barring any gameday changes two Kozlovs will take to the ice tonight- Slava and Viktor. How many times in his NHL career has Viktor Kozlov scored more points in a given season than Slava and how many times have the two Kozlovs played on a team together (pro or internationally)?

Viktor Kozlov has outscored Slava Kozlov in two NHL seasons and is on his way to doing it a third time this season. In 1999-00 he had 70 points to Slava's 36 and in 2001-02 he had 27 to Slava's 22. This year Viktor has 46 points compared to Slava's 39. Since Viktor joined the NHL Slava has outscored him 669 points to 448 and has played in 104 more playoff games than Viktor, who has played in just 14. Slava calls Viktor a 'good buddy of mine' but has never played with him at any level of hockey, which is somewhat surprising given that the two players have combined for 17 appearances with Russia in international play (10 times for Slava, 7 for Viktor).

Congratulations to Austin R. who is today's winner. Trivia now goes on hiatus for a week and returns on April 1 for the second last home game.

It is just sad to watch the Thrashers. I wish (like Kari) that they could just forfeit the rest of the games and go on vacation.

It is depressing to see them play so well in one period only to know that they are going to blow it by sucking it up in the third.

Worst part is - they were worse than expected.

Go Thrashers! - Sell the team, Fire DW

What was worse---watching them implode in the 3rd or trying to gag down those DISGUSTINT $1 hot dogs?? Memo to management: when you attempt to do something nice for the fans, don't act like cheap #$!!$ and lower the quality of the product! Who are you trying to kid by substituting the usually decent hot dogs with some cheap crap? Race Trac would have been embarassed to sell those things at three for a dollar!

So the management rips us off on the promotion and then the team rips us off by lying down in the third period.

Thanks! It's nice to be "appreciated"!

Daren is starting his crap about Kari again I know he wants them to resign his buddy Hedberg but to talk as much crap as he can about the starting goalie is bull. This guy is paid by the thrashers and is running down the only guy who still cares about wining. And the way idiot talked durring that VS. game you would have thought moose was in goal he talked more about Hedberg than Kari. Hey Daren in case you have not noticed Hedberg is the worst goalie in the NHL 44 for 44 in goals against and 40 for 44 in save% the guy sucks. Daren needs to stop this or be fired Kari and Kovy are the only two bright spots on this sorry team.

It's just sad to see how they hang Kari out to dry. And then they finally give him hope and then just quit.

On a bright side what a night for Slater :) I'm happy for him. To bad the rest of the team except for lehtonen and perrin don't care.

Yeah, what a night for Slater - we lost all hope for the playoffs and NOW he starts playing, looks like he's thinking "Wow, better start going now that we have no hope so I can be on the team next year!"

I still can't believe DW is going to be GM -AGAIN- next year. Hey I got an idea! Let's trade all the guys we got on the Hossa trade for a 45 year old who's about to retire!

Is there any forum to communicate our discontent directly to the management / owners?

I would really like to understand how they can think that their current performance is acceptable.

I believe that the situation will change in the future and we will improve, but the lack of accountability in the present makes it really hard to have faith.

The owners say Wadell will stay
Waddell says he is set on centers
most of the defnee is returning including Ex who needs to be in the AHL and Klee who needs to be in the retirment home.
So I do not think any comments made by any means other than by not spenading money on thrashers hockey will get to the owners.
