Ottawa Squandering Good Will

I want to cheer for Ottawa in this series. I really do. It's a great city with great fans and Canada is going on 14 years without a Cup. I'm not a big Pronger fan, and Brian Burke isn't my favorite GM in the world.
But wow. Between the diving and Alfredsson's shot on Niedermayer at the end of the second period they sure are making it hard for a guy to like them, aren't they?

You sure said it...I've been pulling for Ottawa...mostly I guess cause they're the Eastern Conf champs...but that fake dive by Neil...if you're going to dive..just don't make it look so hokey..and the shot by Alfie was just way wrong and that nothing got done about it...look I'm no Pronger fan really either..but if Pronger had to sit...I think Alfie should sit for that

I haven't been pulling for them for even 1 second. And I'm not about to start. I can't believe that Aflredson got away with that cheap, dirty slapshot right at Neidermeyer. What a joke. And the fact that he didn't get any kind of disciplinary action for it just makes Canada and the NHL an even bigger joke. If I hear one more time "It was so out of character, we shouldn't blow it out of proporition" I might drive into a telephone pole.
