Boris is big, but is he fast enough? He is tough, but does he take too many penalties? I'm concerned about his ability to play at the NHL level next year.

damn, holik is one big pessimist, always complaining or crying

Bobby Holik: "I say [New Jersey goalie Martin] Brodeur. Without him, they would probably have 10 less wins, maybe more. Is Ovechkin single-handedly winning games? How can you be the MVP when you play 16 games between us and Tampa? That's a lot of games against two of the worst teams in the league."

Is Holik saying Washington wouldn't have 10 less wins without Ovechkin? Ovechkin is the MVP. People may not like it because his team may not get into the playoffs or because he celebrates after his goals, but he IS the best player in the NHL.

Sidney Crosby is the best player in the NHL, but will not win this year because of his ankle injury.
