All of the players seem to be having a good time working as dealers. Johan Hedberg's table is filled with women, as was Hossa's when I stopped by. Can't imagine why.

Marian Hossa- NHL superstar and dealer extraordinaire.

Kari chats with a fan.

Moose cracks a smile...

...Jeff Odgers does not.

Jon Sim, or Simmer (not Sims).

Eric Belanger. What an addition to the team, huh?

And we'll wrap it up with this instant classic. Greg "The Mullet" de Vries with Atlanta Spirit CEO Bernie Mullin.

Things are shutting down shortly here at Casino Night. I haven't heard any good stories yet, but I'm sire some will come out at some point. I just don't hear them sitting over in my corner by the Starbucks guys.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you like the new blog.

Why isn't it a surprise that these two are hanging out together tonight?

I don't know what the story is here, so you can make one up on your own to go with the pictures.

Garnet Exelby, looking dapper with a fedora and a 'stache.

Yes, Greg de Vries is wearing a mullet wig. Or a Ryan Smyth special if you prefer. You can get your own mullet wig if you're one of the first 8,000 people in the door for Sunday's game against Carolina (don't forget it's a 2pm start now).

Yes, Bob Hartley can smile. He's dealing blackjack in the VIP room.

Kovy can smile too.

Brad Larsen is sticking to poker.

Moose is pondering something. I don't what it is, but it must be deep. Look at that concentration.

I think capacity for Puritan Mills is somewhere around 600, so we have about 500 guests crammed in here, plus players and staff.

The gift bags, which always do well are already sold out. That only took about 30 minutes. The players are about to be introduced, so once those are out I'll snap some more pictures.

When attending these types of events it's important to accessorize.

Here's thrash getting some instructions. Nice tux Thrash (compliments of Savvi Formalwear).

Welcome to the new and improved Blueland Blog everyone. We just moved in so go easy on us. We're still getting everything unpacked and tidied up.

You may notice that things are no longer posted by "The Web Guy". While it was never a secret who I was, we're getting rid of the Web Guy persona and going with real names from here on out, so just call me Ben.

Feel free to add comments, and if you're a blogger, feel free to add the new Blueland Blog to your blogroll. If you use an RSS reader, the feeds are to the left, and if you're looking for some great hockey blogs to read, check out the Blueland Links.
